Hot Spiced Apple Punch

A mainstay for holiday parties. Great hot or cooled.

  • Garnish with cinnamon stick

Apple juice 10.0cl 3.33oz
Dark rum 4.0cl 1.33oz
Cordial 0.5cl 0.17oz
Brown sugar One teaspoon
Cinnamon stick
Use ounces
Use centiliters


  1. Place all the ingredients except the rum in a saucepan.
  2. Heat gently for 5 minutes until the liquid starts to bubble.
  3. Simmer for a further 5 minutes to allow the flavours to develop.
  4. Pour into mugs and add the rum.
  5. Leave the cinnamon in as an optional garnish.


This hot spiced apple punch is perfect for the festive season or any time there’s a nip in the air. Enjoy a single serving on a cold winter’s day or make up a batch as an alternative to mulled wine for your Christmas party.
