White rum 6.0cl 2.0oz
Pineapple juice 6.0cl 2.0oz
Grenadine 1.0cl 0.33oz
Maraschino 1.0cl 0.33oz
Use ounces
Use centiliters


  1. Add all ingredients to shaker.
  2. Shake.
  3. Strain into glass.


There's no doubt about it -- this is a sweet and fruity cocktail, with the amount of pineapple juice giving it a creamy texture. You might expect the combo of grenadine and maraschino to be a little too sweet -- and almost redundant -- but the opposite of true, with the distinctive notes of each coming through and paving the way from the drier notes of your white rum. It's quite an enjoyable (one might say delectable) cocktail, and it lends itself to experimentation with regards to amounts of grenadine and maraschino.
