Melon Stand

Watermelon and gin are a great combination for hot days.


  • Served in Collins
  • 20% ABV
  • Garnish with 3 watermelon balls


The PDT Cocktail Book



Gin Plymouth x 6.0cl 2.0oz
Watermelon juice 3.0cl 1.0oz
Lemon juice 2.0cl 0.67oz
Aperol 1.5cl 0.5oz
Simple syrup 1.5cl 0.5oz
Use ounces
Use centiliters


  1. Shake with ice.
  2. Strain into a chilled Collins glass filled with pebble ice.
  3. Garnish with three watermelon balls on a pick.


The Melon Stand is published in The PDT Cocktail Book and credited to Jane Danger in the summer of 2008. It is named after her Minnesota dream bar, Jane’s Sweet Melon Stand, though I personally don’t really get that as a name.
