Information

Luke Honey has a great writeup on the history of the Orange Blossom, which is a sweet Prohibition-era cocktail. He sums it up thusly:

The Orange Blossom cocktail was an extremely popular cocktail during Prohibition. It's essentially just a mixture of orange juice and gin; although there are many different versions using a wide variety of ingredients.

It's sweet -- especially given today's modern cocktail climate -- but very much worth your time.
