Vampiro is very much a cousin of the bloody mary, albeit one with tequila and a distinctly Mexican flair. Some recipes (especially in Mexico) call for swapping out the tomato juice for pomegranate juice or even adding a barspoon of grenadine.
Like the Bloody Mary, its heft and weight will vary depending on the bartender, but it's invariably spicy and will always pack a punch.
