Zucca 3.0cl 1.0oz
Scotch Blended, not single malt x 2.25cl 0.75oz
Soda water 1.5cl 0.5oz
Lemon juice 1.5cl 0.5oz
Grapefruit bitters Two dashes
Use ounces
Use centiliters


  1. In a mixing glass half full of ice, stir together Zucca, Scotch, and bitters until chilled, about 20 seconds.
  2. Add soda and lemon juice to mixing glass and give one gentle stir.
  3. Strain.
  4. Garnish with lemon twist and serve immediately.

Zucca leans toward the sweeter end of the bitter amaro spectrum, with a slightly smoky, earthy flavor that is the perfect companion for a little Scotch. Refreshing bitter lemon soda and grapefruit bitters lighten up the drink, making it easy to enjoy in hot weather.

Go with a blended Scotch here that's not very peaty.
