An aromatic and friendly apple cocktail. Perfect with lunch or when you're feeling pastel.

Apple brandy 6.0cl 2.0oz
Apple cider 3.0cl 1.0oz
Apricot liqueur 1.5cl 0.5oz
Lemon juice 1.5cl 0.5oz
Use ounces
Use centiliters


  1. Shake with ice and strain into cocktail glass.
  2. Top with champagne and garnish with a cranberry.


The Northern Spy was created by Josey Packard, a bartender at Alembic in San Francisco. It's an exceptional cocktail that lends itself to Thanksgiving and autumn evenings but works any time of year: sweet (but not overwhelmingly so) and inundated with apple flavors.
